The K Set Electric Multiple Unit trains operate as four-car sets, with a driving motor car at each end and two trailer cars in the middle. Two sets are combined to form an eight-car train. The K Sets typically operate on the South and Cumberland lines on weekdays only. They are maintained at Flemington depot, and are likely to be withdrawn from service in 2026.
