The Leppington line is a branch line from Glenfield on the South line in Sydney’s western suburbs. It is Sydney’s newest passenger railway line, which opened in February 2015, and is double track. The Leppington line is combined in timetables with the Inner West and South via Granville lines. Trains on the Cumberland line also run to Leppington.
