Crossing loops are located at Riverstone, Mulgrave and Clarendon, while a double-sided platform is provided at the Richmond terminus. The Richmond line is combined in timetables with the Western line. Train services on the Western line typically operate between the city and Penrith, Emu Plains or Richmond.
